Every year, for more than 10 years, the Bioengineering Students Association from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto / School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (NEB-FEUP/ICBAS) organises the Symposium on Bioengineering, the largest student-organised Bioengineering event in Portugal! Its main purpose is to present to our academic community the most recent and innovative projects in the area of Bioengineering with applications on issues of our modern society. The Symposium on Bioengineering slogan is "Solving Tomorrow, Today" and we intend to accomplish that mission once again this year. As usual, both national and international speakers of exceptional quality will be present.

Embracing the vast diversity of Bioengineering, the programme features transversal panels designed to showcase the interdisciplinarity of the area. Additionally, this year's edition features a Roundtable and a Career Fair to foster discussion and connect students with future careers.
