Is there any requirement for attending the XV Symposium on Bioengineering?

    No! Just a load of motivation and curiosity is needed. The event is adequate to a wide range of academic knowledge, so you will fit in just fine.

Will the XV Symposium on Bioengineering be remote or presencial?

    The XV Symposium on Bioengineering will be fully presencial, so you can feel the environment of knowledge and innovation.

What are Speed Networkings?

    Speed Networkings are group sessions where you can chat for a few minutes in a relaxed and informal environment with your favourite speakers. Don’t miss this opportunity!

Where else can I have lunch during the event?

    When you register through this website, you can already buy lunch at FEUP's canteen. If you want to lunch somewhere else we recommend the shopping Campus São João (5 minutes walking) or the restaurants near Hospital São João dining area (10 minutes walking).

When will the workshops or visits happen?

    The workshops/visits will happen on the 15th of March (Friday). Keep an eye on our social media for more news regarding what to expect on those workshops/visits. As soon as vacancies are open, be fast and guarantee your spot!

What if I have classes during any of the workshops/visits on the 15th of March (Friday)?

    If you're a student taking the Bachelor or Master on Bioengineering at FEUP/ICBAS or the Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at FEUP, you will be excused from classes whose timetable coincide with the workshops/visits in which you are enrolled. We’ll take care of that for you.
